rising from her furs, nami walks to the wash basin and pours some water into the bowl and washes her face and her hands, dumping the contents of her bowl out the window and places the bowl back where it belongs. she then turns and goes over to her furs and straightens them and then walks out of the kennel. she picks up the eating utensils and drinking vessels that were left out from the night before and takes them to the servery and places them upon the counter. she then walks over to the waterbarrel kept indoors and seeing that it is only half full, she walks to the servery shelves and she looks below them to the pail area and takes up two of the pails in her hands and returns to the water barrel and fills the pails with water and then turns and pads to the hearth careful not to spill any water. she then pours the pails into the cauldron and making sure that it is full she then walks outside to the stream behind the HS, she fills her pails with the clear, cold water and returns to the HS and empties the pails into the barrel inside, she returns to the stream a few more times making sure that the water barrel inside her Master's home is full to the rim of clean cold water for drinking. she then went out to the rain barrel and checked it and taking her pails went to the stream and filled them carefully carrying the pails back to the rain barrel and emptied them inside, she made this trip a few times until the rain barrel was full of clean water as well. she then went inside and taking her pails with her she filled them both from the warm water on the hearth, she carefully takes these to the counter and empties one into the wash basin and adds some soap flake and watches as it starts to bubble up under her fingers. she leaves the other pail to sit on the counter for the moment as she places the dirty food utensils into the warm water and washes them. she then empties out the wash basin and refills it with clean warm water from the other pail and taking a repcloth she wipes down all of the counters and the shelves including the one above the hearth. she then places her pails down below the counter and walks to the chillery and bracing herself against the chill blast of air she opens the doorway and walks inside...looking around she finds the packages of giant gunt and chooses one and places the large package into her basket, and then walks to the front of the chillery and takes a covered slab of bosk cheese and places it in her basket and then she lifts a pail of bosk milk and carries these from the chillery to the counter making sure to shut the door to the chillery tightly by bumping it with her hip and the pushing against it firmly to hear it click as the lock catches. She places her bounty of goods upon the counter with the spices and then walks over to the vegetable bins, where the fresh vegetables and fruits are stored, and picks out some suls and some fresh onions and then she takes these to the counter and places them there as well. She then goes to the water barrel and dips out a pail of water and takes it to the counter and pours it into the wash basin and places the suls into the water to wash with the onions. She then unwraps the gunt and slices it into small steaks taking care that they are not to large or to small and then she gets two large mixing bowls and walking back to the servery shelves she fills these with sa-tarna flour, these she takes back to the counter and to both of the bowls she adds some salt, pepper, garlic, and other spices. She then taking one of the bowls places the gunt steaks into it and covers them completely and allows them to sit for a few minutes as she readies the other bowl...first she chops up some of the onions that she has washed and puts them into the bowl and then she walks back to the chillery, opening the door and quickly retreiving a small basket of vulo eggs, she pauses a moment and turning she lifts up two gorean melons and then stepping out she closes the chillery door and returns to the counter. once there she cracks the eggs into the bowl that does not contain the gunt and then adds some of the bosk milk and taking a wooden spoon stirs it until it is a thick doughy mixture. she then reaches under the counter and lifts some fry kettles to the counter and taking a repcloth wipes them clean of any dust and then adds some cooking oil to each of the kettles, she then slices the suls into rounds and then places them in one of the fry kettles. she then places the meat into a fry kettle and one by one takes these to the hearth and places them upon a shelf to fry. She then takes the third kettle and places it upon the shelf as well and then gets the sa-tarna mixture and takes it to the fire and drops spoonfulls of the mixture into the last fry kettle. She keeps close watch over these kettles, turning the things within them so that they do not burn, quickly she goes to the servery shelves and takes down some platters and wipes them clean with a repcloth and then taking more clean repcloths she places these over the platters and then she takes the platters to the counter. She returns to the hearth and takes the fry kettles, one by one she places these on the counter and with a ladel takes the fish and the suls and the bread from the kettles placing them on the platters. She sets the kettles on a bench by the hearth to let the oil cool and then taking the platters of food she sets the table for Master and then she goes back to the servery shelves and gets plates and eating utensils and mugs and carrying them carefully to the table with the food she places these upon the table as well. Returning to the servery she gets the bosk cheese and the melon and slices them and places them each in bowl and takes these to the table as well and places them there. Now she smiles as she knows that all is ready for dinner for Master and any guests when They are ready to be served.
